Brownie Troop 621 News

We have had a busy year.  We began the year learning about the two women, Liv and Ann, who traveled across Antarctica.  We were able to keep aware of their adventures through the Internet.  We learned about what the women would eat, wear, how they would sleep, and how they traveled.  This was accomplished through a sleep over party.  The girls learned about the water cycle and how Sebago Lake has an impact on our environment.  We learned about sculptors/artists and studied our own school sculptures.  We became our own sculptors and created some "wild monsters" which we displayed in the school library.  We took an overnight field trip to the Maine Maritime Museum to learn what life was like on a ship in the 1800's and took a pretend voyage through many countries.  We ended our year studying and planting plants
