RAYMOND COMMUNITY TECHNOLOGY The Technology Planning Committee sent out 1500 surveys in the middle of November. Of these, 144 were returned which represented 457 residents of Raymond. This constitutes approximately 12% of the population of the town. This was a very good return because anything over 10% is considered statistically valid. The survey was divided into five sections. Section one, People Demographics, was to determine what categories that each person fell into. Section two, Perception of Technology, let us know how you felt about computer technology and networks. Section three, Use of Technology, gave us an idea of how you use, dont use, or would like to use computer technology and networking. Section four, Computer Demographics, told us about the types of technology you use and how much you use them. The final section, Support, gave us an indication of the level of support in Raymond for promoting the use of computer technology and networking. If you are interested in helping this committee please contact Dennis Dorey at the Jordan-Small School. People Demographics: 3. Are you a student?
