Library Services

Interlibrary Loan Service - access to books that the library does not have. This service is free of charge to library patrons.

Copier - available for patron use at 10¢ per page.

Computer - Go anywhere in the world with our free Internet access. Word processing, games and other programs are also available. Walk-ins are welcome, or call ahead to reserve your time.

Storytimes - features "Baby Time," finger-plays and songs for babies up to 18 months; "Toddler Time," stories, songs and movement for children from 18-36 months (two sessions due to large attendance); "Preschoolers," stories and movement, followed by a craft/activity.

"Libraries Are For Babies, Too" is run by Sue Ellen Gendron and is designed to introduce parents with new babies to the library's resources and to provide a chance to meet with each other. Each family receives a small tote bag containing a board book for the child and a book on reading to children for the parent.

Portland Museum of Art - The library has a free pass; call for information.

Casco Library - Raymond and Casco libraries offer borrower privileges to the residents of both towns with no fee. The Casco library is open Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, 10am.- 8pm.

"Let Us Come To You!" - The Raymond Village Library has an outreach program to improve community access to library materials. If you are unable to come to the library for physical or transportation reasons, or if you are home with small children who are sick, a library volunteer will deliver or return books, magazines or videos. To register for this program, call the library at 655-4283.
