A plus for the Park, the nature trail was built by the local Boy Scout Troop as an Eagle Scout project. It was recently updated with the addition of signs to identify plants and trees so you can learn local Maine flora as you go.

The nature trail covers about a half of a mile across flat ground in the upper park for easy walking. Meticulously maintained by park staff, it is handicapped and stroller accessible. All terrain wheelchairs are available free of charge. Benches are strategically placed for quiet meditation or rest. Maps available at the beginning of the trail. This trail is for FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY. No bikes, ATV's... etc.
