There are six sites in Raymond & Casco that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  All of the buildings were built during the 1800s.

Half of the historic sites are of religious or educational significance—the 1890 East Raymond Union Chapel, the 1814 Friends Meetinghouse & the 1849 Friends Schoolhouse. The 1804 Manning House  & the 1812 Hawthorne House are the oldest buildings listed and were built as private residences. The 1815 Watkins House and Cabins is a historic property that shows a pattern common to rural Maine history—namely, the change of land-use over time from agriculture to small-scale industry to tourism.
