December 30, 2025 - Municipal Referendum Election - Recall Election

ELECTION DAY INFORMATION - Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm at the Jordan-Small Middle School Gym (423 Webbs Mills Road)

ABSENTEE VOTING INFORMATION - The last day to request an absentee ballot is WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24th at 4pm.   All voted absentee ballots must be received by the Clerk by 8pm on Election Day.  

In-person absentee voting is now available (as of 12/5) at the Town Office.  If you intend to take the ballot outside our office to vote it, you will need to complete a request form (available at the office).  **Please check the website to confirm Town Office hours for any changes in regular hours due to Holiday closures.**  The last day to request an absentee ballot is WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24th at 4pm.  

To request that an absentee ballot to be mailed to you (Please note, this may not be the best option, due to the usual business of the Post Office for holiday mailings): 

Call our office (655-4742 x124), during business hours.  We must speak to each voter directly to process the request for an absentee ballot via phone.  

Or, complete an absentee ballot application (you must sign the form) and submit it by:

  • Faxing it to: 207-655-3024
  • emailing it to: town.office@raymondmaine.org 
  • Mailing it to: Clerk's Office, 401 Webbs Mills Road, Raymond ME 04071 (not recommended for this election due to the tight turnaround time)

November 4, 2025 - State Referendum Election

To request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you, click here, or call our office (655-4742 x124). 

In-person absentee voting is now (as of 10/7) available at the Town Office.  If you intend to take the ballot outside our office to vote it, you will need to complete a request form (available at the office).  The last day to request an absentee ballot is THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30th at 4pm.

QUESTION 1: Citizen Initiative

Do you want to change Maine election laws to eliminate two days of absentee voting, prohibit requests for absentee ballots by phone or family members, end ongoing absentee voter status for seniors and people with disabilities, ban prepaid postage on absentee ballot return envelopes, limit the number of drop boxes, require voters to show certain photo ID before voting, and make other changes to our elections?

QUESTION 2: Citizen Initiative

Do you want to allow courts to temporarily prohibit a person from having dangerous weapons if law enforcement, family, or household members show that the person poses a significant danger of causing physical injury to themselves or others?

May 20, 2025

Last day for the Town Clerk's Office to receive voter registration applications by mail.

All Voter Registration applications must be received in-person at the Town Office after this day.

Tuesday, May 13th through Thursday, June 5th   Absentee Voting at the Town Office during regular business hours
Thursday, June 5, 2025 @ 4pm Last day to request an absentee ballot.
Tuesday, June 10, 2025 Election Day. Polls open from 7am to 8pm at the Jordan-Small School Gym

Voter Registration is available at the Town Office during regular business hours. You can also register to vote on Election Day at the polls.
