1994-1995, Isabelle Lucinda Krieger

Isabelle was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was the daughter of William & Bessie (Whipple) Hunter. In 1920, she graduated from Simmons College. Isabelle worked as a research bacteriologist at Boston’s Massachusetts Memorial Hospital & at Cape Cod’s Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. She later married Dr. William L. Krieger. Isabelle Krieger was the proprietor of Twin Pines Gift Shop, along Thomas Pond for 25 years. She was a member of the Raymond Community Church; the Raymond Semicircle; and the Raymond-Casco Historical Society—she was a founding member of the Hawthorne Garden Club. Isabelle died in Raymond.
1991-1994,Mira Louise Dolley

Mira was born in Raymond & was the daughter of Stephen H. & Katherine (Hayden) Dolley. In 1919, she graduated from Colby College & then obtained her master’s degree at Middlebury College. In 1937, Mira was elected as a trustee of Colby College. In 1956, the Modern Language Association recognized her as an outstanding teacher of modern languages. Mira L. Dolley was a French teacher and taught at Deering High School for many years, retiring in 1967. She was a member & past president of the Portland Alliance Francaise. In 1971 & 1972, Mira Dolley of Raymond served as Historian of the Raymond-Casco Historical Society. Mira died in Portland.
1985-1991, Karl Nutting Murch

Karl Nutting Murch was the eldest son of George Albert, Jr. & Annorilla "Anna" (Jordan) Murch. In 1906, he resided with his parents & siblings in Casco. Karl graduated from Hebron Academy in 1913. He 1st married Isabel A.M. Brown (1894-1919). Karl attended Shaw’s Business College in Portland until 1918, when he went to work as a bookkeeper for H.F. Farnum Co. In 1922, he was hired by the Cushman Baking Co., where he worked as an auditor, an office manager & a sales manager. Karl N. Murch was of Portland when he 2nd married Doris M. Strout (30 Sept 1903-21 July 1989) of Portland, 13 Sept 1924, Maine. He retired from Cushman Baking Co. in 1953. Karl was a 50-year member of the Kora Shrine Temple and the Masons. He was also a member of the Woodfords Congregational Church in Portland. Karl died in Portland & is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Raymond.
