It is the goal of the Raymond Village Library to provide a safe, enjoyable experience and environment for each child who visits the library. The following policy has been adopted to clarify for parents/guardians, the concern of the library for the well being of its young patrons. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the conduct of their minor children (under 18 years of age) in the library or on library grounds, regardless of whether they are accompanying their children or not.

Objectives
A. The purpose of the Raymond Village Library is to provide all individuals in the community with carefully selected books and other materials to aid the individual in the pursuit of education, information research, pleasure, and the creative use of leisure time.
B. Because of the volume of publishing, as well as the limitations of budget and space, the library must have a selection policy with which to meet community interests and needs.
